Nichii Warehouse Clearance Sale (14th January-1st February 2010)

Mommy got this info from Smallkucing (thanks, ya!) and got some updates and photos of this sale.
First, the basic info.
Dates: 14th January-1st February 2010
Time: 10am-7pm, daily including public holidays and weekends.
Venue: No.1, Jalan 8/91, Taman Shamelin Perkasa, 56100 Cheras (the SMI building area in Taman Shamelin Perkasa, or near Teo Guan Lee).
Tel: 03-9283 1110
Mommy arrived there at around 5pm, there was no crowd at all. Lots of choices of ladies' clothes, but only a small section of men's shirt. Some of the prices of ladies' apparel that Mommy can remember: simple casual blouse (RM3.90), office skirt with inner lining (RM7.90), jacket/blazer with full inner lining (RM29.90), various dresses (mostly at RM15.90, RM19.90 and RM29.90), T-shirts (RM5), evening dress (RM59.90 if not mistaken). Men's shirts are mostly at RM9.90. As for office skirts, most of the sizes are really huge. For lady blazers, there are still XS, S, M, L and XL sizes available. There are also other knick-knacks sold: plastic clothes hanger (10 pieces per bundle for RM3 per bundle), sets of buttons of assorted designs (RM1 per set) and decorative 'ribbon' to be pinned just like a broach (RM1 per piece).

See this cheongsam dress? It's selling for RM19.90, but too bad, Nichii does not provide fitting room facility, so Mommy dared not buy. So the word here for all mummies out there is: if your body shape or body build or body cut has changed (don't care whether it's a little or a lot!) after giving birth, then it can be quite risky to merely rely on your estimation power to buy clothes here since there's no fitting room for you to try first before buying. ^ ^

Here's a small section selling ladies' accessories.

Another small section selling ladies' shoes, but most of them are at odd sizes, i.e., size 6 not available. Price ranges from RM10 to about RMalmost RM30 (if not mistaken).

So, this is the only item Mommy bought from Nichii.

A pair of lady shoes with 1-inch tall heels for RM10 only! Hehehe....to be worn when working or during formal functions. When Mommy checked the soles, apparently it is made by Bata! Mommy considers this a good and timely buy because Mommy's old low-heeled shoes worn currently to work is going to wear out soon (already can see light crack marks at one side of the sole). And on top of that, .........

......an extra pair of heel-soles is provided at no extra charge! Now, isn't that a good deal? ^ ^

Smallkucing, hahaha....hope your hubby gets the hint ;-). Goood luck! For me, I used the MRR2 way to go into Tmn Shamelin Perkasa. Once you are at the exit main road (it;s a long stretch of main road) from MRR2, go on straight until you reach 2 traffic lights ( if I'm not mistaken), turn left at the 2nd traffic light and you are now at the Jalan ??/91 area. Turn left at the 1st junction and then turn right on the 2nd junction, and voila you're there!
